Youth with Disabilities Community Programme
Objectives:
Improved quality of life of Children and Youth with Disabilities (C&YWD)and their families
Specific objectives:
Improved capacity of Free Pentecaostal Church of Tanzania to work with C&YWD and their families through sustainable framework developed for national purposes and functioning Community Interventions in Tanga Region
National monitoring, training and communication system created to support the development of disability approaches
Increased opportunities of C&YWD through the uplifted capacity of families and surrounding communities
Activities:
- Making disability policy and guidelines
- Building monitoring, communication and information sharing system
- Producing resources to be available to enable FPCT in disability mainstreaming
- Capacity building of FPCT disability-specific units
- Networking stakeholders
- Building life management and rehabilitation skills of families with C&YWD
- Establish supportive activities
- Mid term review and final evaluation
