Public Expenditure Tracking Systems (PETS) at ward and village level in Kisarawe District
Objectives: To contribute towards poverty reduction by improving local government's accountability and good governance as well as to establish PETS committees in Kisarawe and Kibaha villages.
Activities: • Organise project introductory meetings with the District Executive Director , District Education and Medical officers
• Facilitate Village assembly to select and form PETS committees
• Conduct training to PETS committees in each of the selected villages
• Provide notice boards to each of selected villages which will be used to put information of funds received
• Organise ward stakeholders and district stakeholders meetings to get feedback and discuss PETS
