MEMA KWA VIJANA PHASE TWO


Objectives:
To enable AMREF enhance a district Multisectoral response through the expansion of activities of MkV Phase 1 intervention to all primary schools and health facilities in four districts of Mwanza region namely; Geita, Sengerema, Missungwi and Kwimba.

Activities:
-Assist the districts to develop, plan, and start up their multisectoral AIDS Response,
-Expand the MkV intervention activities to include all 649 primary schools and 179 health facilities in the four districts involved in MkV1, and fully embed them in the routine planning, financing and implementation of the overall District AIDS response,
-Conduct in-depth process evaluations to assess the extent and quality of intervention implementation and integration at the district level,
-Carry out policy work to ensure a favourable environment for the implementation of MkV2 in the four districts, and to ensure that the lessons learned from MkV2 are used to inform the development of health policy in Tanzania and internationally, and
-Develop and evaluate complementary interventions aimed
