Support Contribution by Delegation of the European Commission in Tanzania
Jointing efforts in increasing access to safe, affordable and sustainable water and sanitation services in Kongwa and Chamwino Districts in Dodoma Region, Tanzania
Objectives:
-To contribute to poverty reduction and sustainable development and to halve, by year 2015, the proportion of people without access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation in Chamwino and Kongwa District, Dodoma Region, Tanzania
-Specific Objective 1. To improve the access to safe and affordable drinking water and sanitation facilities and services in 7 villages of Chamwino and Kongwa districts
-Specific Objective 2. To strengthen the capacities of 2 District Water Departments and local community to plan, develop and manage water supply and sanitation facilities and services, profitably interacting with both public and private sector
