Improving pastoral lands and livehoods in rural Maasai Communities


Objectives:
- to provide grazing restoration and extension services to the communities of Esilalei and Ol Tukai.
- to improve the quality and accessibility of existing rengeland,
- to build the capacity of community members to better manage the land,
- to reduce the communities' vulnerability to environmental and economic shocks.

Activities:
- land surveying and identification of uses and areas of extreme degradation
- cultivation of overgrazed lands
- grassland recovery
- tree nursery
