Objectives:
Health Equity Group Vision 2010
An emerging popular health movement promoting the progressive realization of the Right to Health and Health Care Services for all Tanzanians through extensive engagement with political leaders and decision makers at all levels
Strategic Objectives

Progress towards these objectives will be evident in:
•Increased public voice about health and health equity
•More effective participation of Tanzanian citizens in setting the agenda, holding decision-makers accountable and accessing information more readily.
Activities:
•Building capacity of grass root communities to demand for better and more equitable health services e.g. through the development and dissemination popular and user friendly materials on Council Comprehensive Health Plans and governance tools such as score cards.
•Building capacity of decision makers at the LGA and national levels for evidence-based planning and resource allocation e.g. through Health budget analysis and dissemination and informing and lobbying MPs on the health budget
•Advocacy and lobbying for public engagement with health as a right, and health equity as a priority social justice
