Enhancing the role of NSAs in governance and Anti corruption in Tanzania


Objectives:
• Assess and appraise governance and anticorruption policy trends and practices in the EAC sub-region member states, consistent with analyses of respective country's governance concrete practical gaps, challenges and tools from which to draw lessons that inform strategy to enhance governance and anti corruption engagement between the Government and Non State Actors in Tanzania.

Activities:
• Bring together a group of about 50 participants from among active NSAs with proven experience in good governance promotion and anti corruption interventions
• Develop concrete tools for promoting demand for accountability, governance best practice and anti corruption
• Draw from the best NSAs - government engagement , recommend appropriate NSAs Government engagement Action Plan
• Enhance demand for political and social accountability in Tanzania
• Document NSAs anti corruption interventions experiences and lessons learned from other parts of Africa as reference literature materials for wider public use
