Collection of views of the people at District level on participation ans accountability for poverty alleviation


Objectives:
• The central government devises an all inclusive system for monitoring the implementation of MKUKUTA at all levels especially from district to village level (downward accountability)
• The views of civil society taken into account in monitoring of MKUKUTA targets especially at district level



Activities:
• To examine two principles of good governance; participation and governance at the district level
• To design the guide and basis for the discussions and results
• Conduct three focused group discussions in each of the selected districts i.e Rufiji in Coast Region and Mvomero in Morogoro.
• Share what has been discussed in the groups and come up with the views and voices to be presented during the Poverty Policy Week
